relays and converts field signals into logic-level data for the
controller. TMR Signal Processing Operates within Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture with
input signals processed across three parallel channels and voting
mechanism for signal validation. Input Status Monitoring Continuous monitoring of each input channel to detect state changes
and abnormal conditions. Built-in Diagnostics Self-check routines executed during operation to identify channel
faults, wiring issues, or module-level errors. System Communication Transfers validated input data to Tricon controller and supports
deterministic execution in safety logic. Electrical Isolation Field inputs isolated from system backplane to reduce impact of
noise, spikes, and ground loops. Online Maintenance Support Module can be replaced while system is energized with no
