1. Working Principle & Production Process The wire mesh machine operates on the rapier weaving principle. Warp wires are fed from a let-off beam under controlled tension. A heald frame mechanism separates the warp wires to create a shed. A rigid rapier belt then carries the weft wire across the shed and inserts it into the mesh structure. The reed beats the weft wire against the fell of the cloth to lock the mesh count. This cycle repeats continuously, with the take-up shaft winding the finished mesh onto a roll.
