2.1 Mechanism of Action

Triazophos 40% EC acts mainly throughcontact killing and stomach poisoning, and also has obvious translaminar penetration and certain fumigation effects. It can effectively inhibit the activity of pest acetylcholinesterase, disrupt the nervous system transmission of pests, and cause rapid death of target pests. The product is non-systemic but has strong penetration ability, which can penetrate crop leaf tissues and act on hidden pests inside leaves and stalks, achieving thorough insecticidal effect. It has no cross-resistance with most conventional insecticides and can effectively control pest populations resistant to pyrethroid and other pesticides.

4.1 Standard Dilution & Dosage

This product is only for field spraying use. Dilute the original liquid with clean water evenly before application. The specific dosage varies according to crop types and pest occurrence severity:

• Rice field: Use 600mL of Triazophos 40% EC per acre, dilute with 40-60kg of clean water, and conduct uniform foliar spraying. Focus on spraying the base of rice stalks to prevent and control stem borers.
• Cotton field: Use 1000mL of the product per acre, dilute with 50-70kg of water, and spray thoroughly on cotton leaves, buds and bolls to eliminate hidden bollworms.
• Corn & Vegetables: Use 500-800mL per acre, dilute with sufficient water to ensure full coverage of crop foliage.

4.2 Optimal Application Time

• The best application period is the egg hatching stage and young larval stage of pests, which can achieve the best insecticidal effect and inhibit pest population reproduction fundamentally.
• It is recommended to spray in the evening or on cloudy days to avoid high temperature and strong sunlight at noon, which can prevent active ingredient decomposition and improve pesticide utilization rate.
• The application interval is 10-15 days. Re-spray in time if pest infestation recurs, and the maximum application times per crop season shall not exceed 3 times.

4.3 Application Notes

• Prepare the pesticide liquid immediately before use, stir fully after dilution to ensure uniform concentration, and do not store the diluted liquid for a long time.
