The FD3051SLT Single Flange Side-Mounted Pressure Level Transmitter is a level measurement device customized for tank/vessel scenarios in the oil & gas industry. Adopting a side-mounted single flange structure, it fits wall-mounted installation of tanks (no need for top space), perfectly solving the pain point of limited top installation space for large oil & gas tanks. Equipped with 316L stainless steel/Hastelloy C corrosion-resistant diaphragms and filled with high-temperature silicone oil for medium isolation, it resists corrosion, low temperature and viscous adhesion of media such as crude oil, LNG and oil-gas mixtures.

1.Side-mounted liquid level monitoring for crude oil atmospheric storage tanks

In crude oil atmospheric tank scenarios of oil & gas depots, the top space of large tanks is often occupied by breather valves and safety valves, limiting the installation of traditional top-mounted level gauges. The FD80F adopts a side-mounted single flange structure, which can be directly installed via openings on the tank side wall (0.5m~5m above the bottom) without modifying top facilities; Hastelloy diaphragms resist corrosion from sulfides and gums in crude oil, and the silicone oil filling design avoids clogging of pressure guiding channels by viscous crude oil; 0.25%F.S high accuracy enables precise tank inventory measurement with an error within ±10mm, meeting trade handover-level measurement needs; the flameproof structure adapts to flammable and explosive environments in tank areas, and links with the inventory management system via HART protocol to realize automatic warning for level over upper/lower limits, avoiding crude oil overflow or pump idling.

2.Liquid level measurement for LNG cryogenic storage tanks

In liquefied natural gas (LNG) low-temperature tanks, the medium temperature is as low as -162℃, requiring high low-temperature resistance of equipment. The FD80F can be equipped with low-temperature silicone oil filling and 316L stainless steel low-temperature resistant diaphragms, stably adapting to the medium temperature range of -162℃~50℃; the side-mounted structure avoids installation/maintenance difficulties of top-mounted equipment caused by low-temperature frosting, and the flange seal uses low-temperature special gaskets to prevent LNG leakage; 0.5%F.S accuracy enables real-time tank level monitoring, and cooperates with 4-20mA signal output to the LNG storage and transportation control system, dynamically adjusting tank inlet/outlet flow to ensure pressure and level balance during low-temperature storage and transportation.
