6" Premium Loose Cotton Buffing & Polishing Wheel (80-Ply)
Description:
Engineered for the final stage of the detailing process, this
6-inch loose cotton buffing wheel delivers a superior, high-luster
finish on fiberglass and non-skid surfaces. Constructed from 80
layers (plies) of unbleached fine-thread cotton muslin, this wheel
features a specialized "loose" or single-stitched design. Unlike
tightly sewn wheels, this construction allows the wheel to remain
extremely soft and flexible, preventing "mushing" or collapsing
under pressure.
The feathered edges and pliable nature of the cotton allow the
wheel to conform to contours, effectively reaching into crevices
and polishing the tops of non-skid patterns without causing
abrasion. It is specifically designed to remove hazing and restore
a brilliant shine to textured surfaces.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Optimized Flexibility: The loose, single-stitched construction
ensures maximum softness, making it ideal for intricate non-skid
patterns and hard-to-reach areas.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Featuring an extra-thick 80-ply (approx.
1.5" width) build, this wheel offers double the surface area of
standard wheels, significantly reducing buffing time while
improving final results.
- Premium Material: Made from 100% unbleached cotton muslin,
providing a durable yet gentle polishing surface for a streak-free
shine.
- Tool Compatibility: Designed with a 1/2" arbor hole (arbor not
included) to fit standard power buffers. The 6-inch diameter is
optimized for use with most portable drills.
- Maintenance: Cleans easily with a wheel rake or sharp edge to
remove compound residue. Note: Must be used with a polishing
compound.

Usage Note:
For optimal performance and longevity, dedicate this wheel

surfaces, as moisture will clog the cotton fibers; always clean and
store the wheel in a dry area when not in use.
