Calcined aluminum oxide flap disc is a kind of polishing disc. With high efficiency, long working
time and good flexibility, it is mainly used for polishing the
surface of various metal and non-metal, removing rust and burr,
etc.
T27 is flat and suitable for sanding flat materials.
T29 is curved and designed for sanding turns and curved surfaces of
materials.
The Grinding Wheel Abrasive Flap Disc is made of aluminum oxide and
is ideal for polishing wood floors. Custom OBM support is
available.
Application:
- Widely used for surface preparation and cleaning of metals and
solder joints.
- Mounted on a portable angle grinder to meet various industrial
processing needs.
- Commonly used for surface preparation of castings, stainless steel,
wood, and non-ferrous metals, including edge grinding.

Our company manufactures abrasive flap discs using three different
types of abrasive cloth: Aluminum Oxide, Zirconium Corundum, and
Silicon Carbide. Detailed instructions are as follows:
Aluminum Oxide Flap Disc: Primarily used for grinding and polishing carbon steel, metal,
iron, welding rods, and wood. This flap disc is often referred to
as a Metal Polishing Flap Disc due to its common use on regular
steel.
Zirconia Oxide Flap Disc: Specifically designed for grinding and polishing stainless steel,
aluminum, mild steel, and construction steel. It is commonly known
as a Stainless Steel Flap Disc because of its specialized
applications.
Silicon Carbide Flap Disc: Mainly used for polishing materials such as wood, copper, stone,
marble, glass, and other hard materials.
Our abrasive flap discs are compatible with both electric and
pneumatic tools, as well as automated polishing production lines.
They are suitable for a wide range of applications, including
grinding and precision surface finishing of metals, stainless
