Operating Instructions
1. Installation & Rotation: Drive pump only in specified
direction (CW or CCW). Reverse rotation damages shaft seal. Inlet
port is larger; outlet is smaller.
2. Piping Connections: Use short, straight suction line without
sharp bends. Maintain inlet pressure 0.8–2 bar abs to avoid
cavitation. Fill pump and lines with clean hydraulic oil.
3. Pre-Start Preparation: Ensure system is fully primed to prevent
dry running. For cold starts, briefly jog pump; avoid hot oil
entering cold pump.
4. Operating Parameters: Strictly follow manual limits: max speed
(3000 rpm for PGP315/330, 2400 rpm for PGP350/365), continuous
pressure 241 bar, temperature, and oil viscosity. Keep system clean
and check filters regularly.
5. Multi-Section Pumps: Rear sections are driven through the front
pump; ensure correct configuration.
