Water Treatment Chemicals Coagualnt Powder Polyferric Sulfate PFS
for Water ClarityDescription Polyferric Sulfate (PFS) is an inorganic polymer coagulant
synthesized through catalytic oxidation of ferrous sulfate. With
multi-nuclear complexes it delivers stronger charge neutralization
and adsorption bridging than conventional ferric salts. Ideal for
treating phosphate-rich, high-COD, or heavy metal-laden wastewater,
PFS reduces sludge volume by 30% while operating effectively in pH
3–11.
Application - Water and wastewater treatment, and sludge thickening.
(PAC&Ferric Sulphate)
- Phosphorus control for wastewater (Ferric Sulphate).
- Mining water clarifying (Ferric Sulphate).
- Industrial wastewater treatment (such as textile, leather, brewage,
meat-processing, coal-washing, metallurgy, mine, pharmacy,
paper-making, massacre, cooling tower, and oilfield, etc.).
- Drinking water purifying and clarifying (Grade PAC-01, PAC-02 &
PAC-L).
Specification | Total iron Content: | 19-22%. | | Restore Substances ( Fe2+) Content: | 1.0% max. | | PH(1% water solution): | 2.0-3.0 | | Insoluble Substances: | 1.5% max. | | Package: | 250KG or 750KG bag |
Instruction of Using Poly Ferric Sulfate-PFS - Before use, add PFS to tap water at a concentration of 5%-10% and
stir it to be fully dissolved .
- The dosage can be determined by lab test based on the properties of
the raw water and the amount of alum flowers formed.
- Generally, it is used on the same day of preparation. It is normal
to have a slight sediment.
Competitive Advantage: 1 | Has the same features as inorganic flocculants such as polyaluminum
chloride, etc. | 2 | It is suitable for phosphorus removal of life sewage wastewater
treatment plant or improving the hydrophobicity of sludge. | 3 | Low use level and cheap cost; | 4 | Specially effective to treat the wastewater from oil field and oil
extraction,coking wastewater. |
Package and Storage: - Packed in inner plastics bags and polypropylene woven bags, with
each bag containing 25kgs, or 1200kgs ton-bag on pallets.
- Stored in original packaging in cool and dry place, away from
sources of heat, flame and direct sunlight.
