The Reduction Roasting Rotary Kiln is a high-temperature, continuous calcination system specifically

the kiln converts weakly magnetic iron ores (such as hematite and
limonite) into strongly magnetic minerals. This transformation
significantly enhances subsequent magnetic separation efficiency

3.Working Principle Calcination Rotary Kiln
Preheating Phase: Raw iron ore passes through a preheater to remove surface
moisture. A gradual temperature gradient prevents particle
bursting.
Reduction Roasting Phase: In the high-temperature zone (700–900°C), the material reacts with a reducing agent (such as pulverized
coal or natural gas). Weakly magnetic minerals are converted into magnetite, facilitating efficient magnetic separation.
Cooling Phase: The clinker is rapidly cooled to stabilize the crystalline
structure and prevent cracking due to thermal stress.
Movement Mechanism: The inclined kiln body allows material to move axially during
rotation, creating a continuous tumbling effect and a dynamic heat
exchange interface for reaction uniformity.
