EVO500 models support 24V DC, but some (like EVO500-3224/4032) also
work with 220V AC. Check terminal wiring—loose ground wires or
reversed positive/negative poles will cause power failure. Q2: The PLC can't communicate with our existing HMI or SCADA
system, how to fix it? A: EVO500 supports Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus, but the
default communication protocol is Modbus TCP. First confirm your
HMI/SCADA uses the same protocol; if not, reconfigure via the iFA
Evolution Platform software. Q3: The I/O response is slow, which affects production line
speed—how to optimize it? A: Slow response is usually caused by too many devices connected to
the communication bus or redundant program logic. Split I/O into
groups and delete unnecessary cyclic scans via the programming
software. Q4: The PLC works fine in the workshop but gets damaged after a
week in a humid tropical environment, what's the solution? A: Install the PLC in a sealed control cabinet with a dehumidifier;
