The core of the fabric hydrostatic pressure tester is based on the hydrostatic pressure method. It simulates scenarios where fabrics encounter rain and humid environments in real-world use. A continuous, stable, gradually varying water pressure (dynamic test) or a constant water pressure (static test) is applied to one side of the fabric sample. By monitoring water penetration, the fabric's ability to resist water penetration is quantified—until water seeps out from the other side of the sample, and the critical water pressure value (hydrostatic pressure resistance value) is recorded. The higher this value, the stronger the fabric's waterproof performance. The static test records the water seepage of the sample under constant water pressure for a specified time.
