This device is used to evaluate the quality and wear life of office chair casters. A load is applied to the office chair seat, and a servo motor and screw are used to perform reciprocating push-pull movements to assess the fatigue of the casters and chair base caused by the chair's forward and backward movement. The stroke, speed, and number of repetitions are all adjustable.
