3D Thermoforming Fire Resistant Cover For EV Battery / 3D Rigid Phlogopite Mica Sheet

3D thermal formed mica sheet: 3D phlogopite mica sheet(partially back glued)dimension:681*426*1mm.It is mainly used as a fireproof insulation layer above power batteries. Generally, the back glued surface is attached to the inner side of the battery pack to achieve insulation, fireproof, and flame-retardant effects, used for heat insulation between battery modules. When a single module lost control of heat, it can effectively block the heat diffusion to other modules, control the fire under smaller range and making it safer.

     It's used for the cover layer of battery packs. When the battery pack loses control of heat and high-temperature flames spray, the mica cover can effectively block the high-temperature flames, prevent other EV components from losing control, and leave enough time for driver & passengers to escape out.

  The new China national standard defined clear requirements for the safety of EV, which promotes the rapid growth of mica materials. China implemented the "GB 38031-2020 Safety Requirements for Power Batteries for Electric Vehicles" on January 1, 2021, requisting that after the battery cell thermal out-of-control, the battery system will not catch fire or explode within 5 minutes, reserving safety escape time for the driver & passengers. Among the many battery protection materials, mica materials exert an important role in the battery protection solutions for mid-to-high-end models with their excellent properties such as high temperature resistance and insulation.

Mica products are mainly used as thermal control and battery protection materials for power batteries in the EV industry.
