Manufacturing Process
How Brushed Finish is Created
  • Base Material: Starts with standard aluminum coil (typically 3003, 5005, or 5052 alloy)
  • Brushing Process: Mechanical brushing using abrasive brushes or belts moving across the aluminum surface in one direction
  • Satin Finishing: Creates consistent, fine parallel lines with variations including hairline (fine) or coarse brush patterns
  • Cleaning & Pre-treatment: Removes debris followed by chemical cleaning
  • Protective Coating Application: PVDF Coating (70% Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000®) for exteriors, polyester coating for interiors, or anodizing for superior durability
