The working principle of automatic soldering machine mainly includes the following key parts: 1. Tin feeding system: • Tin feeding mechanism: usually consists of tin feeding motor, tin feeding roller and tin wire conduit. The tin feeding motor provides power to drive the tin feeding roller to rotate. When the roller is turned, the tin wire is pulled out of the tin wire roll and is accurately delivered to the position of the soldering iron head through the tin wire guide. • Tin feeding control: The control system of the automatic soldering machine will precisely control the speed, length and time of tin feeding according to the preset procedures and parameters. For example, in spot welding, it may only be necessary to transport a small amount of tin wire; In the case of drag welding, continuous and stable tin feeding is required. 2. Heating system: • Heating body: is the core component of generating heat, the common heating body has ceramic heating core, high-frequency heating core, etc. When the current passes through the heating body, the heating body converts electrical energy into heat energy, which causes the soldering iron head to heat up rapidly. • Temperature control: In order to ensure the quality and stability of the welding, the fully automatic soldering machine is equipped with a precise temperature control system. The system is usually composed of temperature sensor, temperature control circuit and controller. The temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the soldering iron head in real time, and feedbacks the temperature signal to the controller. According to the preset temperature value and the feedback temperature signal, the controller adjusts the power of the heating body through the temperature control circuit, so that the temperature of the soldering iron head is kept in the set range. 3. Motor system: • Robotic arm or platform: The motion system of the fully automatic soldering machine is responsible for driving the iron head and the tin feeding mechanism to move according to the preset trajectory and position. There are two common motion systems: robotic arm and table. The robot arm can realize free movement in three-dimensional space and has high flexibility, which is suitable for complex welding tasks. The platform is usually moved in a plane and is suitable for simple straight or curved welding. • Motion control: The control of the motion system is realized by a special motion controller or control system. The operator can specify the welding trajectory, speed, residence time and other motion parameters by programming or setting parameters. According to these parameters, the motion controller precisely controls the movement of the robotic arm or platform to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the welding. 4. Welding process: • Wetting and diffusion: When the temperature of the soldering iron head reaches the appropriate welding temperature, the tin feeding system transmits the tin wire to the tip of the soldering iron head, and the tin wire quickly melts under the heat of the soldering iron head, becoming a liquid solder. Liquid solder, under the action of flux, will wet the metal surface to be welded and spread on the metal surface. The function of flux is mainly to remove the oxide on the metal surface, reduce the surface tension of solder, and improve the wettability and fluidity of solder. • Metallurgical bonding: With the diffusion of solder, metallurgical reactions occur between solder and the metal to be welded, forming intermetallic compounds, so as to achieve solid bonding between solder and metal. When the solder cools and solidifies, a reliable weld point is formed. 5. Control system: • Main control unit: The brain of the automatic soldering machine, responsible for coordinating and controlling the work of various systems. The main control unit receives feedback signals from temperature sensors, motion sensors, etc., and issues control commands according to preset programs and parameters to control the work of tin feeding system, heating system and motion system. • Human-machine interface: provides a convenient operation interface for the operator. The operator can set welding parameters, start or stop the welding process, and monitor the welding status through the human-machine interface. Man-machine interface usually adopts touch screen, buttons and other ways, easy to operate.
