Chongqing Huidi Aviation Equipment Co., Ltd. has reached a
strategic cooperation agreement with GippsAero Pty Ltd.
The new whole aircraft for sale! GA8, a cost effective choice for
freight, parachuting, short-distance transportation and special
missions (such as surveillance).
The GA8 Airvan is an excellent cost effective multi role aircraft
that lends itself to a variety of operations. One instance of role optimisation is to change from the passenger to freight configuration which can be very quickly accomplished with our unique feet
locking mechanisms, designed specifically for GA8 Airvan to meet the
latest safety certification requirements.
The Airvan Freighter is designed to
be capable, reliable, efficient and a
cost effective load hauling aircraft. Parcel freight requires a commodious
cargo compartment - theAirvan provides an
area of 3.4 m³(118 cubic
ft)that is accessed by a rear,
in-flight, sliding door measuring 42.5 inches
by 42 inches. The size of entry
allows for fork lift loading ensuring quick
turn around times. Cabin floor height, a critical
factor in relation to employees'
Occupational Health and Safety, is designed to reduce bending and
lifting.
Other unique features include the removal and blanking off of the
duplicated cockpit dual controls, the removal of the light weight
baggage locker and associated nets and the removal of the passenger
cabin ventilation fan and associated ducting - all intended to
reduce the empty weight even further and thereby increasing
payload.
The standard GA8 Airvan has a cockpit that is specifically designed
for single pilot operation with all controls, instrumentation,
avionics and essential selectors and switches grouped for
comfortably access by the pilot in both VFR and IFR configurations.
To utilize the now vacant space on the RHS of the cockpit a special
parcel bin has been certified and this locker can hold
approximately 100lbs of smaller parcels that the pilot can retrieve
whilst seated, or can be accessed from the RHS cockpit door to
allow rapid delivery of these small items without having to access
the main cargo area via the large sliding rear cabin door .
The GA8 Airvan, initially certified in 2000, has now established a
history of consistent service with world-wide operators and demonstrated capability as a rugged,
reliable, efficient and highly cost effective platform for numerous tasks including passenger
transport, tourist scenic flights, freight hauling, emergency work associated with flood and fire
relief, medevac, and as a tactical reconnaissance aircraft. It’s load carrying ability and low fuel
consumption at loiter have made it an excellent platform for consideration as a dedicated observation and
communications platform.
The ability to carry full fuel, a crew of three and over 550lbs of
mission payload have made the GA8 Airvan ASTRA the most cost effective platform available.
(It's for surveillance role features: Cineflex Camera Installation)
