M Type SiC Heating element

Door type silicon carbide rod (M-type): suitable for heating the bottom or both sides of large box type furnaces and trolley furnaces, with high temperature control accuracy, convenient wiring, and small temperature differences. The electrical properties of silicon carbide rod. Silicon carbide rod is a nonlinear resistor with large dispersion at room temperature. When heated with electricity, the resistance value gradually decreases from room temperature to 850 ℃± 50 ℃, and slowly increases between 800 ℃± 900 ℃. Therefore, the resistance value is basically stable between 1050 ℃± 50 ℃. At this time, the measured resistance is relatively standard and easy to match during installation. The chemical properties of silicon carbon rods: Silicon carbon rods have good chemical stability and can be used continuously in dry and clean air (1450 ℃) for up to 6000 hours. Long term use can react with oxygen and water vapor as follows: Sic 2O2 → SiO2 CO2Sic 4H2O=SiO2 4H2 CO2. To use silicon carbon rods reasonably, the following harmful gases should be avoided from contacting the components: hydrogen (H2) can damage the structure of SiC and reduce the mechanical strength of the components. Nitrogen (N2) can prevent the oxidation of SiC below 1200 ℃, and react with SiC above 1350 ℃, leading to the decomposition of SiC.
