The bag-type dust collector is a highly efficient dust removal and
purification equipment specially designed for the treatment of high-temperature dust-laden flue gas
from the refining furnaces in steel mills. It is the core environmental protection equipment for
achieving ultra-low emissions and meeting production standards in
the refining process. The equipment is based on the pulse bag dust
removal technology and is tailored to the characteristics of
high-temperature, high-concentration, and metal-dust-containing
flue gas generated during the refining furnace smelting process. It
uses PPS/PTFE coated filter materials that are resistant to high
temperatures and acids and alkalis, along with efficient fire
dampers, cooling and cooling systems, and pulse cleaning devices.
It can precisely handle flue gas at temperatures ranging from 1000
to 1800°C. The flue gas is introduced into the dust collector by
the induced draft fan, where it is first cooled by the cooling
system to a range that the filter materials can tolerate, and then
filtered through the bags to separate the dust from the flue gas.
The dust purification efficiency can reach over 99.9%. The emission
concentration strictly meets the requirements of the "Steel
Industry Ultra-Low Emission Standards", and the dust concentration
at the outlet can be stably controlled below 10mg/m³. The equipment
adopts a compartmental offline cleaning design. The pulse valves
are triggered by the program at regular intervals and with fixed
resistance, and the high-pressure airflow instantly blows the
filter bags to completely remove the attached dust, preventing bag
blockage and ensuring the long-term stable operation of the
equipment. The overall structure integrates modules such as the air
intake main pipe, ash hopper, bag filter chamber, cleaning system,
exhaust main pipe, and ash discharge device, suitable for different
tonnage refining furnaces and capable of achieving modular
installation and intelligent interconnection. It is equipped with a
PLC intelligent control system, which monitors the flue gas
temperature, pressure difference, and filter bag status in real
time, automatically adjusts the cleaning frequency and fan speed,
and has the advantages of low energy consumption, easy maintenance,
and long service life. The filter bag service life can reach 18 to
24 months, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs.
It not only effectively solves the dust pollution problem in the
refining furnace, but also recovers the metal dust for
re-furnacing, achieving resource recycling. At the same time,
through negative pressure closed collection, it eliminates
unorganized emissions, helping steel enterprises complete
environmental protection upgrades and green production
transformation. It is the preferred solution for environmental
protection treatment of the refining process in steel mills.
