The surface treatment of plastic parts is to improve their appearance, feel, adhesion, corrosion resistance, electrical insulation or other functional requirements. The following are some common surface treatment processes for plastic parts:
Painting: Primer: Enhance the adhesion between plastic and paint. Topcoat: Provide the desired color and gloss. Varnish: Protect the topcoat, increase gloss and scratch resistance.
