SC TYPE

SC type oil seal is a kind of skeleton oil seal with a single lip covered with rubber, which is mainly used for sealing rotary shafts, and can prevent lubricant from leaking to a certain extent, and provide a guarantee for the stable operation of mechanical equipments.It belongs to rotary oil seal, which is used for sealing in oiled and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure within 0.03MPa (0.3kgf/m2)

Material Characteristics

NBR oil seals mainly have the following characteristics:

1. Good oil resistance: it has good resistance to oil, when contacting with lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and other oil medium, it can keep good sealing performance and effectively prevent oil leakage.
2. Good wear resistance: it can work for a long time under the environment with certain friction, and when contacting with the rotating shaft, the wear-resistant characteristic can reduce the wear and prolong the service life of the oil seal.
3. Wide temperature adaptability: it can work in a wide range of temperature, but too high temperature will affect its performance, the general working temperature is often between -40℃ - 120℃.
