How to check the tool error in precision parts processing:
During the non radial measurement of the rake face in the process
of precision parts processing, the measurement error is caused by
the self dimensional accuracy error of the central college gauge.
For example, on the projector, when comparing the drawn double line
tooth profile curve or single line tooth profile curve with the
actual tooth profile projection curve, the error of the drawn
standard curve will cause comparative measurement error.
For another example, when measuring the tooth profile error with
the coordinate method on the universal tool microscope, the tooth
profile measurement error will be caused due to the coordinate
position error between the standard tooth profile and the actual
tooth profile.
Reasons for error caused by measurement operation:
1. For example, there are errors in the focusing operation when
measuring with the universal tool microscope, resulting in unclear
images. When adjusting the position of the milling cutter tooth
profile, the tooth profile image does not reach the best
definition, resulting in measurement errors.

there is an error when aiming with the indentation method, which
results in an error in the lateral reading, thus causing tooth
profile measurement error.
2. Another example is that due to unskilled measurement operation,
there is a deviation when looking for the maximum point P of the

tooth profile measurement.
