E-Coating Process Overview

Electrophoretic coating, also known as electrophoretic deposition (EPD), electrocoating, cathodic electrodeposition, or electrophoretic painting, involves immersing metal parts in a water-based solution containing paint emulsion. An electrical current is applied, attracting the paint particles to the metal surface for an even and durable coating.
