ST-1301 Eco-Friendly Flame Retardant Synergist for PE
Product Overview
ST-1301 is an environmentally friendly phosphorus-based flame
retardant synergist designed to enhance the performance of
halogenated flame retardants. It fully complies with stringent
environmental regulations such as EU RoHS and REACH. ST-1301 serves
as a partial or complete replacement for antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃)
in flame-retardant polymers including PE, PP, and TPE, offering
significant cost savings while maintaining high flame retardancy.
It exhibits excellent thermal stability, very low solubility in
water, and minimal moisture absorption, ensuring no hydrolysis or
leaching, and has little impact on the physical properties of the
base material.
Product properties:
Appearance | White powder | Average particle size | 6~10 μm |
Density | 1.2±0.1 g/cm3 | Bulk density | 0.4±0.1 g/cm3 |
Moisture content | ≤0.3 % | PH | 4~6 |
Decomposition temperature | ≥300 ℃ | | |
Recommendations for Use
Due to its low dosage in flame-retardant resins, it is recommended
to pre-mix ST-1301 with other additives before blending with the
resin to ensure uniform dispersion and consistent flame retardant
performance.
When fully replacing antimony trioxide, it is advised to use
ST-1301 at 1–1.6 times the original Sb₂O₃ loading.
