into the main suction path. Drive Wheel MotorsThe robot's mobility depends on two brushed DC motors, typically from the 520 series, operating at approximately 6500 RPM. These motors power the left and right wheels independently via
gear mechanisms, enabling forward motion, turning, and obstacle
negotiation. A failure in one motor can cause navigation errors; if
both fail, the robot becomes immobile. Main Brush / Roller Brush MotorResponsible for rotating the roller brush to agitate and sweep
debris, this component typically uses 380 or 390 brushed DC motors running at around 9000 RPM. Each robot includes one such motor, offering robust torque output
for deep carpet or hard floor cleaning. Laser LIDAR Motor (for SLAM Navigation)Laser scanning systems may employ either brushed or brushless motors to rotate the LIDAR unit. A failure here compromises obstacle
