Product Description
Engineered for planetary ball mills, these jars exhibit 10x longer
service life than alumina counterparts. The tetragonal phase
stabilization prevents crack propagation, while our proprietary
surface finishing (Ra ≤0.05μm) minimizes sample adhesion. Each unit
ships with a Certificate of Conformity including batch-specific
density measurements (Archimedes' principle) and ICP-MS
contamination reports showing <50ppb metallic impurities.
Zirconia planetary grinding jar is a high performance laboratory
abrasive equipment with the following advantages: High hardness and
wear resistance: Zirconia has extremely high hardness and wear
resistance, and can effectively maintain its shape and size during
high-intensity run-in process, thus providing a more stable and
consistent grinding effect. High corrosion resistance: Zirconia has
strong corrosion resistance and can be used in harsh environments
such as high acid, high alkali and high temperature, avoiding the
corrosion problems that occur in the use of traditional ball mill
tanks. High temperature stability: Zirconia has a high melting
point, can be ground at high temperatures, and has good heat
conductivity, can effectively reduce the heat generated in the
grinding process. Low wear: Zirconia wears less during
high-intensity run-in and does not create additional contamination
and residue on the ground sample.
Zirconia grinding tank is mainly used for high-precision sample
grinding and mixing, widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food,
natural gas and other fields. It can be used for grinding and
mixing various materials, such as ceramics, glass, metals,
plastics, cellulose, etc. In addition, zirconia grinding tank can
also be used for sample preparation, quality control, material
characterization and other aspects of experimental research.
