Scrap Metal Shredding and Sorting Line The automobile shell shredding and recycling line primarily involves the following process: First, the used automobile shells are conveyed to a pretreatment area via conveying equipment to remove non-metallic impurities such as plastic and rubber, and preliminary disassembly is performed if necessary. Next, the pretreated automobile shells are fed into a two- or four-shaft metal shredder to be broken into uniform, small pieces. The shredded material is separated by magnetic separation to remove ferromagnetic metals, and then by an eddy current separator to separate non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum and copper). Remaining non-metallic impurities are removed by air separation or screening.
