Process flow of iron barrel shredding and recycling: 1. Feeding: conveying to the shredder: The pre-treated iron barrel is fed into the shredder feed port by a belt conveyor or manually. The feeding speed is adjusted according to the shredder processing capacity (usually 1-5 tons/hour) to avoid excessive feeding and causing the machine to jam. 2. Shredding: breaking into small pieces: After the iron barrel enters the shredder crushing chamber, it is sheared and torn by the double-axis rotating cutter, and finally broken into irregular pieces of 20-80mm in size (the specific size can be controlled by adjusting the cutter gap), and the fragments are discharged from the discharge port. 3. Screening: Separation of qualified and unqualified fragments: The crushed fragments are screened by a vibrating screen, and the fragments that meet the size requirements enter the next process; the fragments that are too large are intercepted by the screen and returned to the shredder through the reflux device for re-crushing to ensure uniform fragments. 4. Magnetic separation: Removal of non-metallic impurities: If the fragments are mixed with non-metallic impurities such as plastic (such as barrel cover seals) and rubber, they are separated by a permanent magnetic drum magnetic separator: the iron fragments are adsorbed by the magnet, and the impurities are discharged with the conveyor belt to improve the purity of the iron (the purity must be above 95% for subsequent smelting).
