1. Multiple Braking Systems

   • Motor-integrated brake: primary brake.

   • Safety brake: As a redundant backup independent of the motor brake, it is usually installed on the high-speed or low-speed shaft of the gearbox. It reliably brakes the load in emergencies or when the main brake fails. This is a major safety feature of European-style hoists.

2. Overload Protection Device

   • Integrated electronic overload protection limit switch. When the load exceeds 105%-110% of the rated load, it automatically cuts off the hoisting power to prevent overloading.

3. Dual Limit Protection

   • Upper limit switch: Automatically stops when the hook reaches its limit position to prevent "overshooting" accidents.

   • Lower limit switch: Can be set as needed to prevent excessive slack in the wire rope, which could lead to rope tangling.
