Flexible Graphite Products Overview
Material Composition & Production
Derived from natural graphite flakes, flexible graphite
products—including sheets, foil, tape, and strips—undergo a
specialized manufacturing process. Raw graphite is chemically
treated and thermally expanded at high temperatures, forming
exfoliated "graphite worms" with a bulk density of ~0.003 g/cm³.
These expanded particles are then compressed into rolls or sheets
without binders or fillers, ensuring high purity and enhanced
performance.

(-200°C to +3000°C).
Mechanical Properties: Superior compression resilience, self-lubrication, and
impermeability for effective low-pressure sealing.

Sealing Components: Used as core material for graphite packing rings and

Direct Industrial Use: Processed into thick plates for manufacturing low-pressure seals
or high-temperature insulation pads.
