ZF3000 is a vector high-performance frequency converter independently developed by Zhufeng Electric. This series of products can handle technical performance challenges encountered in most industries and devices with ease while maintaining excellent basic performance and functionality. From a user perspective, it has significantly improved usability, maintainability, reduced installation space, and higher design standards.

The rectifier bridge and IGBT of famous brands are adopted, with higher configuration and large margin derating design. The temperature rise of key components and PCB boards is fully monitored, the configuration is optimized, the design life is long, and the thermal design is large. Independent air duct design can effectively prevent dust from entering the inverter, causing short circuit and other faults, improving reliability; The cooling fan with long life and large air volume is selected to effectively reduce the temperature rise of the frequency converter and ensure the reliable and stable operation of the frequency converter. I. Raw Material Processing Stage

Belt Conveyors/Scraper Conveyors

The transportation of metallurgical raw materials (ore, coke, coal powder) relies on a large number of conveyors. Frequency converters can achieve soft start/soft stop, avoiding large current impacts during motor startup as well as material slipping and accumulation.

They support multi-machine linkage and synchronous speed regulation, dynamically adjusting the conveying speed according to the production capacity requirements of subsequent processes to prevent "front-end blockage and back-end emptiness" and improve raw material conveying efficiency.

Equipped with overload and overcurrent protection functions, they can shut down in a timely manner when materials are jammed, protecting motors and mechanical transmission components.

Crushers/Ball Mills

II. Smelting Stage

Blast Furnace Blowers/Dust Removal Fans

The blast furnace air supply system is the core equipment for ironmaking. The fan speed directly affects the oxygen supply volume and smelting efficiency of the blast furnace. By adjusting the fan speed, frequency converters accurately match the air volume requirements of blast furnaces in different smelting stages. Compared with traditional damper throttling control, the energy saving rate can reach 30%–50%.

After dust removal fans adopt variable frequency speed regulation, the air volume can be dynamically adjusted according to the flue gas volume, avoiding energy waste during constant-speed operation and reducing fan noise.

Tilting Systems of Converter/Electric Arc Furnace

The tilting mechanisms of converters and electric arc furnaces need to control the furnace body angle (charging, tapping, slag dumping) stably and accurately. Through closed-loop vector control, frequency converters achieve low-speed and high-torque output, ensuring no jitter or impact when the furnace body tilts.

Rolling Mills (Hot Rolling/Cold Rolling)

Multi-stand synchronous speed regulation: Hot rolling lines and cold rolling lines are usually composed of multiple stands in series. Frequency converters realize precise synchronous speed regulation of the roll speed of each stand through the master-slave control mode, avoiding steel stretching or stacking and ensuring the thickness uniformity of strip and plate products.

Tension control: In the cold rolling process, frequency converters cooperate with tension sensors to stably control the tension of strip steel, preventing strip steel deviation and breakage and improving surface finish.

Rapid speed regulation response: The roll speed can be quickly adjusted according to steel specifications (thickness, width), shortening the production change time and improving production line flexibility.

Roller Conveyors

For roller conveyors transporting rolled steel, frequency converters can achieve sectional speed regulation, matching the process rhythms of rolling mills, cooling beds, and straightening machines to avoid steel collision and scratch.

They are adapted to high-temperature working conditions, and frequency converters with high protection levels (IP54 and above) are selected to resist dust and high-temperature steam erosion.

IV. Auxiliary Stage

Water Pump/Oil Pump Systems

For cooling water pumps and hydraulic oil pumps of metallurgical equipment, frequency converters adjust the speed according to the equipment temperature and oil pressure requirements, avoiding "overcapacity" and reducing pump station energy consumption.

They realize constant-pressure water supply/oil supply to ensure the stability of equipment cooling and hydraulic systems.

Dust Removal and Desulfurization Equipment
