Fluoride Online Water Quality Analyzer
>>Overview
The fluoride online analyzer employs the national standard method for water quality fluoride determination —
fluorine reagent spectrophotometric method. This instrument is primarily used for monitoring surface water,
groundwater, industrial wastewater, and is particularly critical in
regions with high incidences of dental caries and skeletal fluorosis for monitoring drinking, surface, and groundwater sources.
The analyzer operates autonomously under long-term unattended and continuous operation based on field configurations. It is widely applicable to
industrial wastewater discharge, industrial process wastewater, and
similar scenarios. Depending on on-site complexity, optional
preprocessing systems can be integrated to ensure reliable testing processes, accurate results, and compliance with diverse operational demands.
>>Principle
In an acetate buffer medium at pH 4.1, fluoride ions react with the
fluorine reagent and lanthanum nitrate to form a blue ternary
complex. The color intensity is proportional to the fluoride ion
concentration. The analyzer quantifies fluoride (F⁻) by measuring
absorbance at 620nm wavelength.
