Chemical Etched Smoke Detector Mesh Micro-Hole Stainless Steel
Insect Screen for Fire Alarm Sensor Protection
Product OverviewXinhaisen’s precision-etched smoke detector mesh is designed to
allow optimal smoke entry while blocking insects, dust, and
electromagnetic interference. Manufactured using high-accuracy
photochemical etching, our meshes ensure consistent hole size,
burr-free edges, and excellent flatness for reliable smoke detector
performance. Etching Process UsedMaterial cleaning – Remove oil and contaminants from metal sheets. Lamination & exposure – Apply photoresist and transfer the mesh pattern via
high-precision film. Development – Remove unexposed photoresist to reveal the etching area. Spray etching – Use acid etchant to dissolve unprotected metal, forming
micro-holes. Stripping – Remove remaining photoresist. Inspection & packaging – 100% optical inspection before shipment.
Product FeaturesUltra-fine holes – Minimum aperture down to 0.03mm. Fine line width – As narrow as 0.015mm. High uniformity – Tolerance within ±0.01mm. Burr-free & smooth – No mechanical stress or edge deformation. Material options – SUS304, SUS316, brass, nickel, etc. Thickness range – 0.02mm – 1.5mm. Custom shapes – Round, square, hexagonal, or slotted holes.

FAQ- Q1: What is the smallest hole size you can etch for smoke detector
mesh?
A: We can etch holes as small as 0.03mm in materials 0.02mm–1.5mm
thick. - Q2: Can you produce non-circular hole patterns?
A: Yes. Square, slot, and custom-shaped holes are available. - Q3: Is the mesh flat after etching?
A: Yes. Chemical etching produces no burrs or warping, maintaining
excellent flatness. - Q4: Do you offer sample prototyping?
A: Absolutely. We provide low-volume prototypes for testing before
mass production. - Q5: What is your typical lead time?
A: 5–7 working days for prototypes, 7–15 days for mass production. - Q6: Which certifications do you have?
A: We comply with ISO9001:2015 quality management standards.
