  WL-AD3945 is a water-based hydroxyl-functional acrylic dispersion designed for formulation with water-based isocyanate curing agents. When crosslinked, it creates high-performance ‌two-component polyurethane (2K PU)‌ coatings suitable for multiple protective applications:Primers, topcoats, and clear coats,Vehicle refinishing,Heavy transport equipment finishing,Industrial protective coatings

  Frequently specified as a direct replacement for BAYHYDROL A145 in waterborne polyurethane systems.

The viscosity of the product is affected by the pH value, as the pH value increases, the viscosity and thixotropy will increase.

Formulation Guidelines for Waterborne Hydroxyl Acrylic Systems‌

1. ‌Co-solvent Recommendations‌
   When combined with water-based isocyanate curing agents, use these co-solvents for the main resin:

   • DPNB
   • PNB
   • DGBE
   • BCS

2. ‌Curing Agent Specifications‌
   Preferred curing agent blends:

   • PGDDA,PMA+DBE mixture (ratios: 1:1 or 1:2)

3. ‌Application Warnings‌

   • After the A/B components are mixed, if the initial viscosity is too high, the pot life will be shortened accordingly. 

   • Direct metal contact may induce flash rust

4. ‌Processing Limitations‌
   Avoid resin participation in color paste grinding due to:

   • Process instability variables
   • Potential stability degradation risks
