Strong Adhesion Waterborne Acrylic Resin Emulsion For Hardboard Printing

WQ-2031 is a waterborne acrylic resin emulsion specifically designed for use as a primer in flexographic printing for hardboard printing. It is widely used in printing hardboard for food packaging, gift boxes and heavy-duty hardboard packaging. Similar to Joncryl 631, WQ-2031 exibits excellent adhesion, film-forming properties, and environmental compliance.  

Although both Joncryl 631 and WQ-2031 provides strong adhesion, WQ-2031 is specially developed for applications in rough surfaces while Joncryl 631 suits for even surface. WQ-2031 provides excellent adhesion to hardboard surfaces, ensuring that the ink remains firmly attached even on rough and porous substrates. This reduces issues like ink peeling or delamination. As a primer, WQ-2031 forms a smooth and uniform film on hardboard, filling in surface irregularities. This results in improved print quality, with sharper images and more vibrant colors. In addition, the resin offers outstanding resistance to water and chemicals, making it suitable for hardboard printing applications that may be exposed to harsh environments, such as industrial or outdoor use.
