2198-ABQE Allen Bradley Kinetix Encoder Output Emulator

The 2198-ABQE module is an encoder output emulator module designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation within the 2198 product line. The main objective of this module is to encode pulses to a peripheral device and then support the real and virtual axes of the system using the network's integrated motion control (here, an Ethernet/IP network). The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2198-ABQE encoder output emulator module comes with a 24 volt wiring plug, a label to record the IP address, and installation instructions. Some accessories such as connector kits, spare connectors, and end-to-end anchor kits need to be ordered separately and are also required for proper module installation. When mounting the module, it is important to note that there must be at least 100 mm of clearance on the top and bottom of the drive, but no clearance is required on the sides of the module.
