Introduction:

NBS smoke density tester is widely used in various industrial sectors to determine the smoke generated by solid materials and components installed vertically in a closed box. This widely used equipment measures the specific optical density of smoke generated by a material in a closed box, with or without a pilot flame, when a substantially flat sample with a thickness of up to 25mm is exposed to 25 kW/m2 of thermal radiation.

Function of NBS smoke density tester: Test the density of smoke generated when the material burns, mass loss rate, and other parameters to characterize the flame retardant properties of the material.

Main Feature:

1. The internal dimensions of the NBS smoke density tester's chamber is 914mm X 914mm X 610 mm. Both the inner and outer walls are treated with Teflon coating, which can resist the erosion of highly corrosive gases and greatly extend the service life of the box.
2. The box adopts a full-door design, which allows users to clean the inside of the test box more easily, and the efficiency can be greatly increased when replacing different standard test accessories.
3. An auxiliary heating device is installed on the outer wall of the test box cabin, and the temperature inside the box can be set according to different standard requirements.
4. An explosion-proof aluminum foil device is installed in the box to reduce the personal risk of test personnel in the event of an accident.
5. A pressure relief port is opened on the top of the box, which is connected to the pressure regulating capacity bottle to adjust the internal pressure of the box.
6. Automatically movable cylinders are installed on the top and bottom of the box for inhaling and exhausting smoke.
7. Equipped with ASTM E662 radiation furnace device, it can provide 25KW/M2 heat radiation output.
8. Equipped with ASTM E662 Standard six-head burner, with a radiation furnace, can be used for flame combustion test.

9. Provide an air-cooled copper pan calorimeter, and the back cooling method can be used to adjust its surface temperature during the test.
10. Equipped with ISO 5659-2/GB/T8323 radiation cone device, can provide 50KW/M2 heat radiation output.
11. Provide an ISO 5659-2/GB/T8323 standard open flame burner, with a radiation cone, that can be used for flame combustion test.

12. Provide an SB water-cooled heat flow meter with a standard measurement certificate.
13. Can be equipped with a self-circulating cooling water source; no external cooling water source is required, convenient for users to use.
14. Equipped with the weighing device, it can be used for the MOD smoke density test and the material thermal weight loss test.
15. The sensor range is 0-2000g, with an accuracy of 0.1g.
