Timken Analyzer Ring and Block Wear Testing Machine
Product Introduction
The ring block friction and wear testing machine, also known as the
Timken testing machine, uses the method of line contact sliding
friction to test the friction and wear performance of the samples.
The working principle is as follows: the driving part is a standard
rotating ring, and the driven part is a fixed standard-sized
rectangular block. By measuring the width of the strip-shaped wear
marks on the rectangular block of the passive sample under
different loads, as well as the friction force and friction
coefficient between the friction pairs of materials, the bearing
capacity of the lubricant and the friction and wear performance of
the friction pair materials can be evaluated. It can also be used
to assess the lubrication performance of various lubricants under
oil immersion lubrication conditions, especially suitable for the
simulation evaluation of the anti-abrasion performance of medium
and high-end automotive gear oils, and can be used for the wear
performance research of various metals, non-metals, and
coatings.
This machine is of a frame structure. It is controlled by a servo
motor to load the lever. All the test parameters are set in a
unitized manner. The operation is convenient, and the test readings
are accurate and reliable. This machine adopts an integrated
structure design. The computer, software, industrial control
module, and actuators are combined in one frame to complete the
control of the entire experimental process. It can collect test
data in real time and draw corresponding test curves. It can also
store, view, and print out the test data or curves at will.
