Product Basic Attributes 

ShinEtsu KF-6001 is a premium-grade silicone elastomer designed for industrial and technical applications requiring exceptional thermal stability, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance. This two-part addition-cure liquid silicone rubber (LSR) features a low viscosity (1,500±500 mPa·s at 25°C) for easy processing and cures at temperatures between 100-150°C.Its hardness ranges from 30 to 50 Shore A, offering balanced flexibility and durability.

Product Introduction

The KF-6001 series delivers outstanding performance with a tensile strength of 5-7 MPa and elongation at break exceeding 500%, making it ideal for manufacturing seals, gaskets, and precision components in harsh environments. Its platinum catalyst system ensures zero byproduct release during curing, meeting strict FDA and EU RoHS compliance standards. The material maintains stability across -50°C to +200°C, with short-term tolerance up to 250°C.

Special Properties 

This elastomer exhibits low compression set (<15% after 22h at 150°C) and exceptional dielectric strength (≥18 kV/mm), outperforming conventional rubbers in electrical applications. Its self-lubricating surface reduces friction coefficients to 0.2-0.3, while the nano-scale filler technology enhances tear resistance (≥25 kN/m). The KF-6001 also demonstrates UV stability and hydrolysis resistance, suitable for outdoor and medical applications.
