YEJ Series Electromagnetic Braking Three Phase Asynchronous Motors  

The new series YEJ motors are full-closed, fan-cooling squirrel-cage three phase asynchronous ones with disc D.C electromagnetic brakes, nation-widely unified and designed.
The series YEJ motors have advantages of high efficiency, high starting torque, quick braking, less vibration, low noise. According with IEC standard, their mounting sizes are as same as the series "y". In addition, the brake has a hand reliving device, which makes it not only have function of hand reliving, but also have function of electro tripping.
The series YEJ motors are suitable for main shaft transmissions and auxiliary transmissions which are required quickly to stop, exactly to position, reciprocatedly to rotate, transport, package, food, print, construction, textile, woodworking, retarding, metallurgical and forging machineries, etc.
The D.C disc brake of the series YEJ motor is mounted on shaft-extending end. Turn on the motor, the brake will operate at the same tine. By the action of electromagnetic attraction, the electromagnetic will attract the armature, the spring will be compressed to make the braking disc separate from the armature and cover, and the motor starts to rotate. And turn off the motor, the electromagnet of the brake will lose attraction, the spring will push the armature to make it press the braking disc tightly, and the motor will stop working immediately by the action of the friction force moment.
The rated voltage and frequency of the series YEJ motors are respectively 380V, 50Hz. A rectifier within the wiring box supplies power for the brake.

Altitude: not higher than the sea level elevation of 1000 meters. Relative
Humidity: not higher than 95G.
Rate Voltage: 380V. Rate Frequency: 50 Hz.
Connection: " Y "type for 3 KW and downwards, and "D" type for 4 KW and upwards.
Operation Mode: continuing (S1).
