Typical Properties White powder. The specific density is 1.24. Soluble in CS2, benzene, chloroform, alcohol, diethyl ether, insoluble in water and lower concentration alkali. Recommended Applications ZDBC is used as secondary ultra accelerator for thiazole and sulfenamide cure systems in general purpose polymers (NR, SBR, IIR, EPDM). It can be used as a primary accelerator in specialty applications as well as in latex. In latex applications ZDBC is mainly used in transparent goods and in prevulcanized latex. An additional application is as an antioxidant in adhesive systems. ZDBC gives faster cures than ZDEC or ZDMC. Handling and Storage recommendations The product should be stored in the dry and cooling place with good ventilation and should be avoid hot and sunshine. Usually the shelf time is 12 months while the recommend use of date is 6 months.
