Specific Gravity Tester Densimeter Electronic Density Tester for Rubber
It is necessary to test whether the rubber can withstand repeated bending without cracking. This type of fatigue is usually tested using DeMattia machines according to ISO 132:2017. It bends the test material at the speed, degree and density specified by the standard. The intact material is tested to see if it cracks under high frequency repetitive bending loads. Measurements are coded according to ASTM D-430. The result represents the number of bends required for cracking, so higher values indicate better resistance. In another part of the test, a notch is made in the material to test for further cracking. Measurements are coded according to ASTM D-813, which also records the length of the crack and the number of bending cycles.
