LIYI Digital ISO535 Cobb Moisture Absorption Tester For Cardboard And Paper Product Description
Paper COBB Absorption Tester is mainly used for determination of sized paper and cardboard including surface water imbibition of the corrugated cardboard. The instrument is determination of absorbent paper and cardboard surface, but is not suitable for accurate evaluation of paper or paperboard writing performance. This test determines the liquid sorption rate of bibulous paper, paperboard, and paper products using gravimetric principles. A set volume of water is dropped onto the paper surface and the time for the drop to be absorbed is measured. The water absorbency rate is used as a measure of the acceptability of tissue, towelling and blotter papers in sorptive tasks.
