Manganin , Chinese common name is 6J13,  manganese copper alloy is an alloy with copper as the base and elements such as manganese and nickel added.

Its chemical composition mainly includes copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni) and other trace elements.

This alloy has excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and processing properties, and also exhibits good corrosion resistance at medium strength.

Manganin foil and wire is used in the manufacture of resistors, particularly ammeter shunts, because of its virtually zero temperature

coefficient of resistance value and long term stability.
