Product Description

The new projector features a 3LCD imaging system with 1.0-inch panels and a blue phosphor laser light source, delivering a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. SMX said the MX-X25000U can operate at full brightness using standard AC 100-240V power, removing the need for a high-voltage installation.

Connectivity options include two HDMI inputs, HDBaseT, 3G-SDI, DVI-D and VGA, as well as HDMI output. Control options include support for Crestron RoomView, AMX Device Discovery Technology, PJLink and RS-232. A wired IR remote is also included.

The projector offers 360-degree orientation, lens shift (H: +/- 25%, V: +/- 65%), horizontal and vertical keystone correction, and four-corner geometry adjustment. Built-in edge blending and six optional lenses provide further installation flexibility.

While SMX notes the MX-X25000U is suitable for houses of worship, industry experts say its 25,000-lumen output is best suited for large sanctuaries, cathedrals or megachurches. For smaller congregations, the brightness may be excessive and could result in washed-out visuals if not carefully managed.
