Gas Fume Chamber description:
This tester is designed to test the colour fastness of all textiles, except loose fibres, to exposure to chemical butane gas or to atmospheric nitrogen oxide produced by the combustion of city gas.
 

How Gas Fume Chamber works:
The Textile sample and the control sample are placed in the gas fume at the same time until the color of the control sample changes to the color equivalent to the fading standard. Evaluation of discoloration of a test specimen using a grey card. If discoloration is not observed after one test cycle, the test cycle may be continued for a specified number of times or for a specified number of times required for discoloration of the specimen.
