YM-A Penetration Inspection Standard Block
YM-A type penetration test block (also known as aluminum alloy test
block) is used to compare the sensitivity test of different
penetrants or the sensitivity comparison of new and old penetrants.
The test block has symmetrical defects on both sides A and B, and
can be compared with different penetrants for testing, or the same
penetrant can be used under different operating methods to
determine the standard operation. It can also be used as a
penetrant for corrosion testing of aluminum materials.
Maintenance of test blocks:
The comparison test block must be thoroughly cleaned after use to
remove any residual penetrant on the test block. After cleaning,
soak it in anhydrous ethanol solution for 30 minutes, air dry or
blow dry it, and then place it in a test block box and store it in
a dry place.
