Copper Nickel alloy description:

CuNi alloy is a copper-nickel alloy (CuNi alloy) with medium resistivity for medium-low temperature resistances. The alloy is suitable for use at temperatures up to 400° C (750° F)

CuNi alloy wire is very malleable and has a good resistance to corrosion until temperatures of 400° C. Ideal applications areas are all types of resistances used at low temperature.

 

Constantan is a type of resistance alloy, which is made up of copper and nickel as the main components.

 

It has a low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), and a wide operating temperature range (below 500°C). It has good properities on mechanical working, high resistance of corrosion. It is used for variable and strain resistance of corrosion. It is used for variable and strain resisitance elements in alternative instruments.
