The designed usage time for solar cell module is about 20~30years , and the reliability test is the simulation of the earth's surface photovoltaic modules (crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon thin film, concentrating) design verification, can let the module long-term operating more than 20 years in a general climate , specification requires that solar cells module do test below :
Thermal cycle test; Humidity-freeze test; Damp Heat;
To confirm the solar cell can withstand high temperature and high humidity level with the minus temperature influence, as well as for repeated change caused by the temperature and thermal fatigue failure, in addition to determine solar cells resistant to moisture long-term penetration ability of the test equipment design and ability to meet the relevant standards below: (IEC61646 , IEC61416 ,IEC61215 , UL1703 , IEC62108 , IEEE1513 ,IEC61730 etc ) .

Damp Heat : Condition :temperature 90 ±2 ℃ , humidity: 90% ±5% R.H. Testing last for 1000h , P.S.: ASLi chamber can meet temperature 95 ±2 ℃ , humidity: 95% ±5% R.H. Purpose:To determine the ability of the module to withstand the effects of long-term penetration of humidity.
Humidity-freeze test Purpose:The purpose of this test is to determine the ability of the module to withstand the effects of high temperature and humidity followed by sub-zero temperatures. This is not a thermal shock test
Test points:low temperature -40℃,high temperature 85℃ Max temperature rising speed rate:200℃/Hour=3.33/min Max temperature falling speed rate:200℃/Hour=3.33/min 24 hours per cycle,testing for 10 cycles, 240 hours(10 days)
Thermal cycle test; Test points:low temperature :-40℃,high temperature:85℃ Temperature falling/rising speed rate:100℃/Hour=1.67℃/min 6 hours per cycle, testing last 50~200 cycles Total testing time last 300 to 1200 hours (12.5 to 50 days )
