Admiralty Brass Seamless Tube ASTM B111 C44300, Widely Used In Condenser And Heat Exchanger
Introduction of C44300 Admiralty Brass Tube
ASTM B111 C44300 refers to seamless tubes made from Admiralty Brass, a copper-zinc-tin alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine and industrial heat exchanger applications. C44300 contains about 70% copper, 28% zinc, and 1% tin, with a small amount of arsenic to prevent dezincification.
These tubes are widely used in condenser and heat exchanger systems, particularly in freshwater and brackish water environments, due to their high thermal conductivity, good strength, and resistance to biofouling and erosion. Manufactured according to ASTM B111, the tubes are typically supplied in annealed (O61) or light-drawn tempers, making them suitable for tube expansion, bending, and fabrication.
