ASME SB111 C71500 Copper Nickel Alloy Seamless Condenser Systems
Tubes Material C71500, also known as Copper-Nickel 70/30, is an alloy that consists of 70% copper and 30% nickel, with small amounts of other elements such as iron and manganese. This alloy is widely used in the form of tubes due to its excellent combination of properties, which include corrosion resistance, medium high strength, and thermal conductivity,it has good creep resistance at high temperatures.

This specification establishes requirements for seamless tube and ferrule stock of copper and various copper alloys up to 3 1/8 in. (80 mm), inclusive, in diameter, for use in surface condensers, evaporators, and heat exchangers.
